About us
Teaching has been at the heart of everything Dr. Jennifer Bambrick does since 2010, spanning the classroom, the university level, and everything in between.
Jennifer began her career teaching middle school English to Speakers of Other Languages, and it was there she was inspired to learn all she could about how to effectively teach reading. She then moved into elementary school, teaching both 3rd and 5th grade before stepping into broader roles that would shape her expertise even further.
Building on her classroom experience, she went on to serve as a school-based literacy coach in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, a K-12 Instructional Coach for the North Carolina New Teacher Support Program, a LETRS National Trainer, and an Assistant Professor of Education at Walsh University, while continuing to work as a private literacy tutor for students of all ages.
That breadth of experience across classrooms, schools, teacher training, and higher education means Jennifer understands literacy challenges from every angle.
Today she works with teachers, schools, parents, and organizations across the US and beyond, giving them the tools, knowledge, and confidence to create stronger readers. Whether you are a parent supporting a struggling child, a teacher or literacy coach looking to sharpen your practice, or a school building a stronger literacy program, Meridian Literacy and Learning meets you where you are.
"This trainer clearly has expertise and practice in teaching this content. I appreciated her personal anecdotes about working with students — she can not only talk about this content, but she can use it in her work too."

"Thank you so much Dr. Bambrick! You have made this course enjoyable and eye-opening! You have such a wealth of knowledge and experience, that I am truly impressed. I have been teaching quite a while, and I appreciate all of the content I have learned in this course. I hope to end my career better than I started, and this course has definitely helped!
